Ostensibly it is a pleasing idea, that every younger child should have a laptop, so as to make the younger generation professional and technical savvy – as these gadgets are bound to groom the younger generation and tremendously advance their know-how and expertise, and secondly, it can be helpful to keep them abreast with the demands of modern era. Perhaps to materialize this notion, it will take some more time.

To advance in this direction, OLPC has unveiled a latest laptop – Impressive XO 2.0 Concept, offering very attractive features and multi-dimensional capabilities that will reach to the open houses at a later date.

This charming laptop has a dual touchscreen interface, fulfilling the gap between conventional laptops and innovative tablets.  Laptop’s target price is USD 75, and would prove affordable for many other persons, who have never thought before.

It is considered widely that, this laptop is a finer boost in the IT domain.   So far technical details of OLPC XO 2.0 version are not out, that is expected to be half the size of the current OLPC with a remarkable interface.

The most interesting facet of this gadget’s is – reducing the conventional keyboard from this series, in order to use dual “indoor-and-sunlight” touchscreen displays akin to the series, being used on the iPhone and iPod Touch.

OLPC is of the view, that XO 2.0 series will work on a great plan for the US, that is, give one and get one” in the coming months, of the year 2009.
