Steve Jobs, the CEO of Apple has said that the future is off to a good start, that is fine for Apple but what is it doing to its competitors? Well CNET have an article on their site that looks at the potential buyers of the new MacBooks, they did their research with ChangeWave, so lets have a look at this.
Of 100% of people that will be buying a new laptop 36% say that they will buy a MacBook. The figure has moved up by 11 points since they surveyed the previous month, a market researcher of ChangeWave said “Simply put, it’s the highest level of planned laptop buying ever for Apple in a ChangeWave survey.
So this is a big plus for Apple but they must have clawed these figures from other vendors. This seems to be consistent across the board as their iPad and new MacBook models are in such high demand.
